Washington University in St. Louis


Washington University is located in St. Louis and divided into three schools that serve undergraduate and graduate students. Like the city of St. Louis, this private institution, founded in 1853, offers many sporting activities in addition to its excellent academics. The university’s Barnes-Jewish Hospital is one of the top-ranked hospitals in the country and The Mildred Lane Kemper Art Museum located on campus has one of the most distinguished university collections in the country. Actor Peter Sarsgaard and former FBI Director William H. Webster are distinguished Washington University alumni.
