New York University


New York University, located in urban New York, NY, is comprised of many schools and colleges, the largest being the College of Arts and Sciences. This private institution, founded in 1831, may have a small Greek life but it also offers tons of things to do in the city with no borders separating a distinct campus from the streets of New York City. There are also hundreds of student organizations including NYU-TV, which provides entertainment and information to the university community. Directors Martin Scorsese and Spike Lee are former Tisch (School of Arts) students.
